Center Street Tavern: Discover Acworth's Favorite Neighborhood Spot

Terrific experience. Visited early afternoon on Monday and Lydia could not have been more welcoming or friendly. Burger was soo tasty and the Gouda bites - well, I liked them so much I staggered them out for several days to enjoy them over and over - great fresh and reheated! We don't live nearby, but this will be a fun date-night get-away for me & hubby. It is a tavern & seems like a fun neighborhood place.

Good burgers! Each choice of burger tastes great. Good sweet potato fries. The soups are always good too. We eat here a lot after church on Sunday. The restrauant does have tvs going with sports on them BUT the volume is NOT loud or blaring where you cannot have a conversation at your table.

Lively restaurant with excellent service. Loved the Gouda Mac Bites (fried mac and cheese). The chicken salad wrap had such an over abundance of meat that the toppings (lettuce and tomato) were completely lost in appearance and taste.

Great place for some jumbo wings and a beer. Staff is very friendly. Husband had fish n chips, said it could have been better but it was good. Gouda bites were amazing!!

We love this place! We take our dog and sit on the patio. It has a very small town feel. We had just seen a couple and their dogs at Logan Farm Park, and then they were at Center Street, too. We have been here many times. Good points: They have many vegetarian dishes. The patio is very dog friendly. They have water bowls out there. The menu is so good. You can make great meals just feom the sides. The staff is very nice. I got the spinach salad for the first time yesterday, and it was DELICIOUS. We ordered several appetizers instead of meals, and it was perfect.

Very much a tavern. Vibe, food, and drink selections. Very casual. Music wasn't too loud (which was grea!). I'm come back again.

This place is one of my new favorites! The atmosphere is inviting and the food is fantastic! I had the Philly cheesesteak and it's probably one of the best I've ever had. Seriously, it ranks at the top of my list and I am very particular when it comes to cheesesteaks. My husband had the smothered chicken and it was mouth watering. The prices are fair and the service, while not outstanding, it was better than good. You won't regret giving this place a shot!

Food was amazing! First time here and we will be back, the nachos and especially the fries were sooo crispy and delicious!! And the server was super nice. Super cheap pricing as well :)
